Syspeace for Windows 2003 server released
As many of you already know, we’ve released version 2 that also includes Windows 2003 support and we’ve got great feedback on it.
While introducing version 2, we actually also rewrote a lot of the engine code in the background to make Syspeace more modular for us to implement new features further down the line.
Syspeace for SQL Server
Our next goal is to implement support for SQL Server and see if we’ll be changing how the attacking IP address is geographically presented.
We’ve already started testing and are running it so it will be released shortly. Stay tuned and keep an eye out on http://www.syspeace.com
Syspeace for Windows Server 2012
Alongside with the new beta test, we’re also investigating support for Windows Server 2012.
In essence, Syspeace does work on Windows Server 2012 and we’ve tested it but in some scenarios, the originating IP address isn’t correctly logged by Windows and we’re investigating how to fix a workaround for it.
Basically, it’s not a Syspeace issue but the problem is Windows Server 2012 in itself, and sometimes also in 2008 / 2008 R2.
We’ve come a long way since we released the version 1.10 in July 2012.
We’ve implemented support for more features, we’ve enhanced the speed of the engine and added reporting capabilities and we will continue adding support for more functions and applications and we’ve still got a long to do list with new features and ideas.
Thank you for supporting Syspeace and mailing us your suggestions, impressions and ideas.
